I’ve been around racing all my life. More time has been spent at the shop, than at home. I started my own racing career at the age of four, racing go karts at Talladega Short Track. After a short go kart career, I quickly advanced to Bandoleros where I was the 1999 Bandit National Champion and won multiple titles in the winter and summer shoot outs. After I began racing Legends cars at the age of 12, I won multiple races in the semi-pro and pro divisions, and again claimed numerous shoot out titles. At 14, I began racing Late Model Stock Cars in the UARA Series. In 2005 I was rookie of the year, with one race win, and third in over all points, followed by another third in points in 2006. In 2007 I competed at Hickory Motor Speedway’s weekly show and finished the season second in points. In 2008, after running both Hickory Motor Speedway races and a partial UARA schedule I was the Fall Brawl Champion. Now, in 2009 I am racing a full UARA schedule. My future goal is to simply win races and open doors that lead to the top levels of NASCAR. I feel that being a part of Humpy’s Heroes can point out the areas I need to improve on to achieve my goals. There is no better advice than the advice I can receive from those who have been successful at the top levels of NASCAR whether it is a driver, crew chief or promoter that makes up the panel for Humpy’s Heroes. |
